Does this solution make sense for my Organization?
If your league has around 300 annual registrations and a desire to fundraise all year this is a great solution for you.

Can you process membership as well as program payments? Donations?
Yes, HB Sport Management Services can process all payments, including membership, paid directory listings, donations and sponsorships. HB prefers that all registration fundraising fees from the members goes through the organizations collection process This includes keeping track of your membership records to ensure memberships are current when a participant registers for a program.

Does everyone have to pay by credit card? Do you handle deposits?
Not everyone has to pay by credit card. And, yes, HB Sport Management Services allows you to accept and record offline payments by checks if you want to. HB Sport Management Services also handles deposits, including the flexibility to set the minimum amounts.

We already run a pretty tight ship. Will you really save us staff time and money?
Yes. All our customers have experienced savings–even those who already had systems. HB Sport Management Services affects many aspects of your operation. Can I leave the WebStore open all year?
Certainly, as a matter of fact we encourage it. The benefit to a WebStore is the ability to keep spirit wear and gear available at any point in time. While at the same time collecting fundraising money to help manage or improve the offerings of your organization.

How is the reimbursement of payments handled?
As your are receiving the fees collected directly HB bills monthly for our services. For any web store or advertising revenue that we have collected we will remit quarterly to your group.

How long does it take to get started?
New customers are typically up and running within 15 business days. Our Client Services team uses its successful experience with other organizations to work with your staff to make the transition easy and painless. This includes suggested communications to participants.

What if I only need or want a WebStore. Is that possible?
Yes, the option for a WebStore only is available for those leagues interested. The fees are based on an initial set up fee, a small monthly fee and any applicable credit card processing fees.

What happens to my member, participant, volunteer and donor data?
You always own and control your data. It is stored in encrypted form in a high security, monitored facility and transmitted using the toughest security Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). HB Sport Management Services cannot use your data without your written permission. HBSMS will only use your data to send promotional offers on your behalf, which can be opted out of.

How do I handle payment processing over the Internet?
We will assist you in acquiring a secure online merchant account or you can use  HB Sport Management Services merchant system and account, eliminating any risk or work on your part to handle online credit card payment. Our comprehensive transaction reporting will streamline your recording keeping and customer service.

Will registrations increase or decrease when everyone has to sign up online? Volunteers? Donations?
Customer organizations see increases in participation of as much as 15-20%. For volunteers, the increase has been as high as 30%, while donations have increased by up to 25%.
